Your P&L tells you what happened.
Your journal tells you why.
Log every trade with the reasoning behind it. Tally reads the record back to you and shows which setups actually pay — and which habits keep costing you an evaluation.
Most traders can tell you their win rate. Far fewer can tell you why they took the trade that broke the account.
The gap Tally exists to closeThree steps, and the third is the one that pays
The numbers are the easy part — your platform already has them. What it doesn't have is what you were thinking.
Get the trades in
Import a CSV from Tradovate, cTrader, MT4, MT5 or your prop firm dashboard and Tally fills in every number. Or log manually in about thirty seconds.
Write it while it's fresh
What you saw, how you felt, and the charts you were reading — tagged by setup and timeframe. This is the part your broker statement can never give you.
Get an honest read
After the New York close each Friday, Tally reads your week — trades, reflections and charts together — and tells you what your winners share and what your losers keep repeating.
Patterns you can act on, not a wall of statistics
Your best and worst setups
Ranked by expectancy in R, with the actual trades behind each number — so you can check the claim rather than take it on faith.
The leaks you don't count
Breakeven trades aren't free. Tally shows what share of your week they ate, and whether you're cutting winners early or entering without conviction.
A discipline score
Win rate, profit factor, win/loss ratio, consistency and rule adherence — averaged, so a hot streak can't hide poor process.
Most traders describe a strategy. Tally shows you the one you actually run.
Write down the confluences you look for and what each is worth to you. Mark the non-negotiables. Then tag them as you reflect, and Tally reads the record back — what you reach for, what you pair it with, and what grade your trades have really been landing on.
Points are yours to set — the total needn't be 100. A setup is scored out of 100 as a share of what's on your card, so only the ranking matters.
Key Level 17 · Liquidity sweep 15 · Retest 14 · HTF aligned 11 · 45 of 56 tagged
The counts are the finding — they show what you keep reaching for, whether or not you meant to.
Your rules, your grades
You set what an A+ takes: minimum score, must-haves present, confluences met. A setup earns a grade only when it clears all three — so a pile of small bonuses can't dress up as an A+.
Pairs you didn't know you had
The combinations you take together, ranked by how often. A pair you keep trading is a setup you run, whether or not you've ever named it.
What's missing from your card
Factors you tag again and again but never wrote down. Either they belong on the card, or they're a habit worth a closer look.
One caveat we'd rather state than bury: tags are added when you write the reflection, after the trade has closed, and people notice their confluences more readily on winners. Treat the counts as fact and the win rates beside them as context — not proof a combination works.
An AI coach that reads your record — not the market
Our own analysis engine, built over hundreds of real trading weeks. Every figure is computed before the coach ever sees it, so the numbers are the numbers — what it adds is the judgement a mentor would bring. Here's the opening of a real read.
“4h was a clear downtrend. Price retested the 1h level and I entered on the break — but I sized up because the last two went well.”
You finished the week down $412 across 23 trades with a 57% win rate. That combination is the whole story: you're right more often than you're wrong and still losing money, which makes this a payoff problem, not an accuracy problem. Your average winner is +0.82R against an average loser of −1.34R.
Your winners are closed in 18 minutes on average. When you take a trade in the first two hours of your session and manage it quickly, you keep what you make.
Losers are held 47 minutes — nearly three times as long as winners. An average loss of −1.34R when your stop implies −1.0R means stops were widened or removed after entry on several trades.
Your average size after a loss is 1.9 contracts against 1.2 after a win. Position size is climbing when results are worst. Four of 23 trades carry no stop at all, so a fifth of your week can't be measured for risk — and the pattern behind that shows up in…
Every read closes with your sequencing and a specific brief on what to capture next week. That part is for members.
Our engine, not a chatbot
Expectancy, profit factor, hold times and every segment are computed by our own analysis layer before the coach writes a word. It interprets the numbers — it never invents them.
It reads your charts too
Screenshots you attached are read against what you wrote. If you named a structure the chart doesn't show, it says so — a misread concept keeps costing you regardless of discipline.
It says what it couldn't see
Every read closes by naming what was missing from your logging and what to capture next week. Specific to your gaps, not generic advice.
With a thin sample it says so rather than inventing a pattern. Under ten trades it won't claim to know where your edge is.
Every trade adds up to a picture
One score across five things a disciplined trader gets right — so a hot streak can't disguise a poor process.
The habit is the hard part. So that's what gets rewarded.
Marks are earned for reviewing a trading day while it's still fresh — never for winning. A day you don't trade never breaks a streak and never costs you anything. Only a day you traded and never wrote up does, and you have 72 hours.
Gold, reviewed on time · dim, late · broken, traded and never written up · hollow, still inside the window
Five strokes and a crossbar. A run of on-time days earns at ×1.25, then ×1.5, then ×2.
Nothing rewards what you write
Only that you wrote it, and when. Points attached to a field turn that field into a score to farm — and everything here rests on those fields being honest.
Nothing rewards trading more
No marks for volume, none for P&L. A system that pays you to take trades is a system working against you.
Marks buy AI reads
Spend them on credits for your weekly and monthly reads. The first missed day each month is forgiven, and a bad week costs you at most 30.
Coach from the journal, not the screenshot
Most coaching happens after the fact, from a cropped chart and a memory. Mentor Hub gives you the trade and the reasoning, written while it was still fresh.
“Entered on the break because I didn't want to miss it again.”
You've written “didn't want to miss it” on four losers this month and none of your winners. That phrase is your tell — when you catch yourself thinking it, that's the trade to skip.
10 student seats
Each student shares their journal by consent, and can revoke it whenever they want. No back doors.
30 credits each
Your students get their own AI reads and exports at no cost to them — included in your plan.
Notes on the trade
Coaching lands where the trade lives, so it's read in context months later instead of lost in a chat.

Straight answers
Does Tally tell me what to trade?
No, and it never will. Tally describes patterns in trades you've already taken. It doesn't recommend instruments, directions or strategies, and it can't predict markets. Nothing it produces is financial advice.
Do I have to connect a broker?
No. Import a CSV from your platform, or log trades manually. Direct broker sync is in development — you can vote for your platform from inside the app.
What happens if I stop paying?
Your journal becomes read-only. It's never deleted or locked away — you keep full access to read and export everything you've written, and JSON export stays free and unlimited. Resuming restores editing instantly.
Do my students get Pro?
Yes — in full. A student you've linked gets everything a Pro subscriber gets, including setup patterns and their own 30 credits a month, at no cost to them. Their seat is covered by your plan. If the link ends, their journal stays theirs and returns to the free tier.
Can the rewards affect my trading data?
No. Marks are earned for reviewing a trading day within 24 hours — never for how a trade went, how many you took, or what you wrote in the fields. A day you don't trade leaves no mark and costs you nothing. Nothing in the reward system can change a figure in your journal or in your AI read.
Is my trading data private?
Your journal is yours. It's never sold and never shared. When you request an AI read, that period's trades, reflections and charts are sent to our AI provider to generate the analysis — only when you press the button, never in the background.
